Ripon Rotary Ride 2026

The Ripon Rotary Charity Bike Ride is an annual non-competitive cycling event held each May that brings together riders of all abilities for a scenic challenge and a great cause. Participants cycle a marked 100 km (approx. 62 mi) route through the beautiful countryside of the Vale of York, starting and finishing at Bishop Monkton Village Hall near Ripon, North Yorkshire.

More than just a ride, this event is a community-focused charity fundraiser supporting local organisations including Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Saint Michael’s Hospice, Dementia Forward, and other Rotary-supported initiatives. Riders enjoy fully sign-posted roads, multiple refreshment and water stops, technical support along the route, and the camaraderie of fellow cyclists — all while helping make a positive impact in their community.

The 2026 ride is scheduled for Saturday 9 May 2026, with registration opening on 1 January 2026. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or enjoy riding at a leisurely pace, this ride offers a rewarding day on the bike for a great cause.

Another Chevin Supported Event

We’re delighted to be providing mobile mechanical support around the route. If you experience any bike-related issues along the route, our tech team will be on hand and happy to help.
