Introducing the Whyte Bikes T-140C R. Could this be the ultimate British trail bike? We have always been a fan of Whyte Bikes’ stunning design and amazing ride quality, but this thing just blows the term value for money out of the water!
With 130mm of rear travel and 27.5-inch wheels paired with some quality 2.6in Maxxis rubber, this thing is set to destroy any tight, twisty and technical trails you can throw at it. Whyte has opted to go with reinforced rear tyres, this adds impact insurance and frees you up to get as freaky as you want on your favourite trails, or just react totally right when you’re hitting a tech section for the first time.
Let’s look at the gear to go with the beautiful heart of this machine. Starting with the group set, Whyte have equipped this stunner with a 12 speed SRAM Eagle drivetrain. This amazing combination of GX rear mech and shifter matched with an NX cassette leads to flawless shifting yet amazing value when it comes to changing out those big cogs at the back.
Rockshox is supplying the cushion in this case with a RockShox Pike Select RC Fork and Deluxe Select + RT rear shock. This great combination of suspension offers all the squish you need with some added bits of bling to tune to your heart’s content.
Whyte’s award-winning mid-travel trail bikes have rewritten the rules on what 27.5in wheels and 130mm of rear suspension could do. The T-140C R gets a new lightweight carbon fibre front end for outstanding punch and play. Making this thing as easy to climb as it is send it down your favourite rowdy trail!
Finally, we have another set of key components from SRAM in the form of a pair of G2 breaks with a pair of 180mm breaks front and rear to give you all the stopping power your heart desires.
